Our Story

Pratibha Rachkar is the owner of Pratibha Rachkar Couture- a designer store located on law college road. Born in a small town in Natepute, Pratibha graduated with a diploma in pharmacy with distinction. Ten years later after getting married to Shrawan Rachkar-owner of S.K.Constructions Earthworks and Infrastructure, Pratibha decided to further pursue her passion for art and design. She is also blessed with two wonderful sons Krushna who is currently studying in University Of British Columbia Canada and Arjun will be studying in School of Visual Arts New York. After topping the class of Fashion Designing and Boutique Management in JRVGTI Pune and getting awarded by Raj Thakre, she worked as a lecturer in JRVGTI after which she opened her first outlet in Mantri House F. C. Road in 2014. She kicked off her year into the fashion industry by designing for Miss Pune Beauty Pageant 2014. Later Pratibha also designed for three movies and another beauty contest hosted by the Indian Army in Pune. Recently, designed all the outfits for the “Swadeshi Runway” event organised by Mrs.Phadnavis. Pratibha Rachkar Couture has flourished in a great extent in the last 5 years due to her hard work and dedication towards her career while still maintaining her passion for what she does. Pratibha aspires to achieve a global success in terms of business by expanding a her brand in fashion capitals and worldwide.

Once a customer steps into Pratibhas Couture we take the utmost care by providing all the necessary things right from head to toe including accessories, footwear, etc. Likewise, we design according to the customer’s budget and are appreciated for it. Our aim is to fulfil all their requirements in order to provide perfect outfits.

  • Designed for Dadasaheb Phalke Award winning film Pyar Deewana Hota Hai.
  • Designed for RSAMI Army Beauty Pageant, which had three themes: traditional, casual summer and formal western.
  • Pratibha designed for three movies and a beauty contest hosted by the Indian Army.
